Bonded Warehouse
We have a storage facility for goods imported from outside the EU, which is under customs supervision. The warehouse gives the customer the opportunity to store the goods without time limitation and without paying customs and tax obligations such as VAT and customs duties.
Non-EU goods in a customs warehouse are not subject to customs, import duties or trade policy measures. In addition, they allow the payment of customs duties and other taxes to be split when goods leave the customs warehouse in batches.
Our Customs Depot has two
primary functions:
- ensures suspension of payment of duties and taxes - this suspension applies to non-EU goods for release into the EU customs territory
- is an important link in re-exporting goods - it acts as an intermediary for the export of goods imported from third countries abroad
- Customs warehousing provides companies with considerable savings, especially in the case of goods with so-called unlimited usefulness. In this case, the company does not have to pay customs duties as long as the goods are in the bonded warehouse, e.g. until they are sold and thus placed on the market.
- The advantage of a bonded warehouse is that the goods can be moved out even one item or carton at a time - and the taxes due are calculated precisely on the quantity moved out.
- In the case of a bonded warehouse, there is also no time limit after which the goods must leave the warehouse.
Bonded Warehouse
We also offer our customers a Temporary Storage Warehouse - a special warehouse where goods under so-called customs supervision are stored. It makes it possible to postpone the deadline for customs clearance and completion of the required documents. Goods can be stored in such a warehouse for no longer than 90 days.
